    When tasked with finding a new EHR, I was dreading it. The Staff was complaining about the old EHR but no one wanted to learn a new system and it was going to be complicated to move all our existing data. It seemed like an impossible task. My requirement of any platform any where, seemed crazy to companies I talked to, until I found Nexus. I learned very quickly they were not like other EHRs and were willing to listen to what I had to say and work with me to find solutions. They even help us find a solution with moving our records from our 2 previous systems into Nexus. They provided excellent training for the Staff and the Physicians, even providing new options to unforeseen problems. Our previous EHR was hard to work with, providing no communication with us, and locked us to our physical office. Nexus which can customize to our needs, communicates with us as much as we want, has ubiquitous accessibility, and new powerful features like a built in PACS for less than the cost of upgrading our previous system. Nexus makes a continuous effort to grow by listening to suggestions from its customers. It just keeps getting better and better. All EHRs should be like Nexus's philosophy, progression though innovation with technology , and conversations with its customers.

The initial integration between these two systems was almost flawless. The systems came together quickly and have functioned seamlessly as one system with a minimum of problems. By this time, problems have pretty much disappeared, but those we had along the way were always addressed quickly and successfully. I have been tremendously impressed by the expertise and professionalism of the Nexus Clinical staff. They are consistently courteous, easy to work with, and always remain focused on our problems.

    I have been with Nexus Clinical now for about three years and I must say that we have been extremely satisfied with the product and with the customer service. Specifically, I have found the support, out of India, to be excellent, always available to me and highly professional. For the small 1-2 man practice, this product has been great. Attesting for meaningful use was made easy, the ability to write in on the exam, the history and the ROS has been made easy as well. The staff has found the EMR to be very user friendly, and it is very intuitive. I would recommend the Nexus Clinical EMR to small practices with 1-3 physicians without reservation

    Nexus has become a very useful tool to help run my practice. I use it link effectively with my practice management software(billing). The software captures or inserts all the pertinent patient information necessary for an appropriate medical record. The transition to new diagnostic coding (ICD10) has been easily facilitated. Having the patient information stored in the cloud on Nexus server as opposed to my server had greatly simplified day to day operations. The customer support by the Nexus team is second to none.

    Nexus Clinical has been our EMR provider since July 2015 when we transitioned from a very rudimentary, "first generation" EMR. The pre-transition analysis was very thorough, allowing to some customization to meet the requirements of our specialty (General Surgery) and the individual doctors. Pre-transition training was intensive with the physicians because our previous EMR was minimally interactive and Nexus required more physician interaction. During our go-live period, the on-site support was excellent for both staff and physicians. Since transitioning to Nexus Clinical, the physicians and staff have been pleased with the level of responsiveness to problems and charting issues that have arisen. Nexus Clinical is very open to suggestions on improvements - the physicians have offered many suggestions to improve their workflow and Nexus has responded fairly rapidly, most often in next scheduled release (and the updates occur every 2-3 months, not once per year). This frequent updating and improvement prevents the physician and staff from becoming frustrated with the product, which often leads to non-compliance. Our primary support person since implementation is excellent. He responds on timely basis to all requests, he is very patient when dealing with staff or physicians and is creative with solutions to problem we present. No EMR transition is easy and I have found very few physicians under age of 40 who love their EMRs. However, Nexus Clinical goes beyond expectations for support and design flexibility and have made our transition and subsequent operation a smooth one and we appreciate their commitment to a satisfied customer.
